M.O.T.O. transactions

Mail Order/Telephone Order (M.O.T.O.) payments are a type of transactions where the PAN (payment card number) is entered manually, which, therefore, take place without the physical presence of the buyer. The merchant enters, with prior authorization, the buyer's card data, collected via phone, e-mail or fax. This type of payment falls under the card-not-present transactions.
